You should have relevant and recent industry experience, an NVQ Level 3 in Painting and Decorating and the ability to demonstrate skills and understand the needs of learners in a training environment. Previous teaching experience is desirable but not essential; The ability to communicate effectively is essential together with excellent knowledge of health & safety issues.
