In this key role you will implement and manage the College’s Personal Development across the curriculum, creating and embedding dynamic and relevant opportunities in all areas of provision, including Study Programmes, Adult Provision, Apprenticeships and Higher Education. You will work collaboratively across the college to achieve an equitable, exciting approach to personal development that will support our student and apprentice achievement, progression and development, putting them at the heart of decision making. Reporting to the Vice Principal, you will work closely with Curriculum Directors and Student Services to drive the College strategy for Personal Development as well as building relationships with external partners and key stakeholders. The successful applicant: Will be educated to degree level and have proven experience of providing personal development. You will hold Level 2 qualifications in maths and English, it is desirable that you hold a teaching qualification at Level 5 or above. You will have up to date knowledge and understanding of the FE sector and be familiar with the requirements and expectations of the EIF. Experience of developing and implementing strategy/policy documents and presenting reports and monitoring action plans on the effectiveness and impact of each policy, are essential requirements of this role. You will also have successful experience of leading teams, coordinating events, and running training sessions within an educational or other complex service environment.
