If you are a team player who is passionate about helping learners reach their full potential, then we want to hear from you!</p><p> <b>About the role</b></p><p>We are seeking a photography tutor to join our Further Education team, specialising in digital and traditional photography techniques. A good knowledge of the professional working practices, working knowledge of digital and film cameras, and digital post-production skills are essential. Knowledge of theoretical concepts is desirable. We deliver exciting photography qualifications and wish to grow this and expand into new areas. We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable, adaptable and willing to apply themselves to a range of situations that the job may present.</p><p> <b>About the person</b></p><p>Are you a passionate photographer with a passion for education? Do you possess an understanding of photographic processes that infuse magic and uniqueness into every captured moment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are an innovative institute dedicated to cultivating creativity and artistic excellence. Currently, we are seeking a Photographic programme leader to join our dynamic team. As a specialist in photography, we believe in nurturing talents who can breathe life into images through unconventional means.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Develop and deliver engaging sessions on practical photographic processes, including dark room and digital techniques.</li><li>Inspire and guide students in exploring the artistic potential of these processes and help them develop their unique styles.</li><li>Collaborate with fellow educators to design and develop our photography curriculum.</li><li>Stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field and contribute to the continuous evolution of the program.</li></ul><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>A background in photography and a deep understanding of photographic processes.</li><li>Educated to degree level in photography or a related field (preferred, but not mandatory).</li><li>Proven experience in applying processes to produce photographic imagery.</li><li>A portfolio that showcases your expertise in photographic techniques.</li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire and guide students on their artistic journeys.</li></ul><p>Desirable Qualities:</p><ul><li>A passion for experimenting with materials and techniques.</li><li>A thorough knowledge of historical processes and their contemporary applications.</li><li>Experience in teaching or conducting workshops, guiding learners through the various photographic processes, both analogue and digital.</li><li>An open-minded and adaptable approach to nurture students' individual creative expressions.</li><li>Join us and become part of a community that thrives on innovation, creativity, and excellence.
