Pathway Group is a leading provider of skills development and employment support programs, dedicated to improving opportunities for young people in the West Midlands. We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Programme Manager to lead our Path 2 initiative—a contract designed to support individuals aged 19-29 in transitioning into sustainable apprenticeship roles across key sectors. The Role As a Programme Manager for our Path 2 contract, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of this exciting program across Walsall and Birmingham. You will manage all aspects of the contract, ensuring that outcomes are achieved in line with funding requirements and that participants receive the highest standard of support throughout their journey. Key Responsibilities Program Delivery: Oversee the planning, implementation, and delivery of the Path 2 Apprenticeships initiative, ensuring targets are met and exceeded. Team Management: Lead and develop a dedicated team, ensuring a high standard of delivery through support, training, and effective management. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, employers, and community organisations, ensuring effective collaboration and referrals. Compliance and Monitoring: Ensure compliance with the WMCA Skills Programmes Funding Rules and monitor program performance through effective reporting and data management. Employer Collaboration: Work closely with employers to secure apprenticeship opportunities and ensure the program is aligned with sector needs such as health and social care, digital skills, and logistics. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for innovation and improvement within the program, adapting delivery methods to meet the evolving needs of participants and partners. What We’re Looking For Proven experience in managing education, training, or employment programs, ideally within the skills and apprenticeship sector. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff. Demonstrated ability to engage with stakeholders, including local authorities, employers, and community organisations. Excellent organisational skills with a track record of delivering programs on time and within budget. A proactive, positive approach with a passion for supporting young people into sustainable career paths. What We Offer Competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.
