We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled administrator to join UWE Bristol’s Academic Quality and Partnerships Enhancement (AQPE) team in a part-time role. Working as part of the Operations Team, the successful candidate will provide support across the range of AQPE’s activities, as well as developing expertise in particular aspects of the team’s work. The Academic Quality and Partnerships Enhancement team provides university-wide support for the ongoing development and review of UWE Bristol’s educational portfolio across three interconnected areas of activity: Curriculum: supporting the design, development, approval and continuous improvement of the University’s academic programmes, including coordinating support for cross-university curriculum enhancement projects and initiatives and related evaluation activities Standards and Accreditation: supporting oversight of regulatory compliance in relation to quality and standards and engagement with professional, statutory and regulatory bodies Collaborative Provision: supporting the development, oversight and enhancement of the University’s UK and international academic partnerships and associated collaborative provision, including apprenticeships. About you We are looking for someone who has broad based administrative expertise, with experience of working in line with complex regulatory frameworks such as higher education. You will have good organisational, interpersonal, communication and IT skills. You will have experience of working with database systems, and of taking formal and informal minutes of meetings. You will be able to demonstrate a commitment to your own continuing professional development and to delivering outstanding learning and teaching for our students. Where is this role based?
