<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/loose.dtd"><html><body><p>36 hours per week, 40 weeks per year - Fixed Term until 15.07.25 We are seeking to appoint a Senior Learning and Care Support Assistant on a fixed term basis until July 2025 to coordinate the provision of specialist support for students with profound and complex needs. Working closely with other team members and curriculum staff, you will design, develop and implement Individual Care Plans, risk assessments and Individual Support Plans. You will also line manage a team of Learning and Care Support Assistants and ensure the completion of relevant administration. You will need to be trained in Manual Handling, First Aid, Safe Administration of Medication, Epilepsy, Anaphylaxis, Dysphasia and Diabetes including the safe administration of Insulin. You will possess experience providing specialist support for young people and sound knowledge of effective support and intervention strategies for learners with Profound and Complex SEND. You will have experience of assessing children/young people to identify individual needs and have a good understanding of the range and types of interventions available. You will also possess strong administrative and organisational skills, be able to liaise effectively with staff across the College and be able to lead a team effectively.
