The SWITCH facilitator role will enable you to work flexibly within a thriving, innovative, and dynamic team, alongside supportive colleagues committed to providing excellent clinical education opportunities for staff and learners. As a SWITCH facilitator, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality care via education and training, acting as a positive role model to learners. You will be responsible for ensuring that our care and nursing teams receive care and clinical skills induction and ongoing continuous clinical skills training and development to ensure they are competent and confident to provide excellent care to our clients. You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of evidence based clinical skills training working alongside the other colleagues within the college. The use of effective facilitation skills to provide evidence-based teaching and support for learners, across a range of services and clinical settings is essential. Your enthusiasm and commitment to improving patient care through the delivery of high-quality education will be key.There are two areas in which we are looking to appoint:Clinical Skills Trainer - Nurse, Assistant Practitioner, Nurse Associate or other AHP that can deliver clinical skills to care staff such as venepuncture, skin integrity, stoma care and personal careFirst Aid Trainer - Paramedic or experienced first aid trainer to deliver our suite of First Aid courses.
