We’re looking for a Talent Development Advisor to help shape the future of talent at Harrods by managing apprenticeships and our Retail Management Programme (RMP), building a culture of learning and growth. This is a Fixed Term Contract role from February 2025 to February 2026. About The Role As a key member of the Leadership and Talent Development team, you will support the end-to-end management of our apprenticeships and Retail Management Programme (RMP). You’ll work closely with various teams across the organisation to oversee programme management and foster the growth of promising individuals. Key responsibilities include: Partnering with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and managers across Distribution, Finance, HR, IT, Engineering, Facilities, and Digital to manage apprenticeships from enquiry and enrolment through to learner support and completion. You’ll ensure that our apprenticeship opportunities meet business needs, maintain high programme standards, and prioritise the selection of committed, hardworking participants. Owning relationships with apprenticeship training providers, monitoring service levels, preparing contracts, and providing ongoing feedback. You’ll cultivate strong internal relationships to educate and influence leaders about the value of apprenticeships. Acting as the Programme Lead for the RMP apprenticeship cohort, supporting the 2024 cohort through their final assessment (EPA) and onboarding the 2025 cohort. You will collaborate with the Retail General Management team and HRBPs to ensure top talent is selected and whilst developing supplementary learning opportunities as needed. Delivering approximately two core learning sessions per month, supporting learner engagement and skill-building. You’ll track learner attendance and manage admin tasks in our LMS (e.g., Workday). Generating monthly and annual reports on apprenticeship activity, tracking levy spend, and sharing insights with HR and leadership teams. You’ll use this data to uncover new opportunities and maximise our apprenticeship levy usage. This role requires you to be onsite in Hammersmith at least two days a week, [Tuesday being a core office day], with additional days as needed to support talent delivery sessions. About You You will bring a deep understanding of apprenticeship management, from programme setup through to learner support and completion. You are highly skilled with data, using it to generate reports and deliver meaningful insights. You will also be confident in facilitation and have a track record of confidently presenting findings to senior stakeholders. You will have a proactive approach and excellent attention to detail. You must have: Extensive apprenticeship programme expertise, including understanding legal frameworks and operational requirements. Advanced data analysis skills for tracking and reporting metrics, especially with apprenticeship levies. Proficiency in digital learning platforms (e.g., Workday), with experience using government apprenticeship systems preferred. Robust stakeholder management skills and the ability to coach and influence stakeholders effectively while constructively challenging when needed.
