About The Role As Technical Training Coordinator, you’ll play a key role coordinating and facilitating internal and external training requirements for Generation Operations at Drax Power Station. With strong attention to detail, you’ll keep accurate records and provide relevant training advice and guidance to teams. You’ll also be responsible for management and co-ordination of our Technical Apprentices. This will include line manager duties, conducting regular reviews, and working with our Early Careers team and People Development team to co-ordinate and deliver a range of activities. The role will involve working closely with our external apprentice training provider (HETA), with visits off site to their training centre in Hull. Who We’re Looking For This is a great role for someone with a background working within power generation or wider heavy industry. Ideally, you’ll a qualification in relevant technical discipline, and hold or be willing to work towards an IOSH/ NEBOSH certification. You’ll be self-driven and a keen problem solver. Great communication and influencing skills will be essential, alongside the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
