TRAINER OF EARLY YEARS (0.2) Fixed term to July 2025, plus potential for further variable hours - REF 2407119
Up to £5,784 p.a. (FTE £28,921 p.a.)
In addition, Runshaw College will contribute up to £1,134 p.a. (FTE £5,668 p.a.) in employer pension contributions
Runshaw College is one of the most successful colleges in the country, renowned locally and nationally for our outstanding results, a friendly and supportive culture, and a focus on putting the student at the heart of all we do.
We value our staff and students highly, and invest heavily in their development, support and wellbeing. Situated in Leyland, Lancashire, the College is near the M6, M61 and M65 and within commuting distance of Manchester, Liverpool and the Lake District.
Due to the expansion of our Early Years apprenticeship provision to include the Level 5 Lead Practitioner standard, the School of Apprenticeships and Adult Learning has a vacancy for a Trainer to join our successful team in guiding learners through their Early Years apprenticeship journeys. The Level 5 standard will offer a progression route for apprentices who have successfully completed our Level 2 Practitioner and Level 3 Educator standards, as well as a career development opportunity for those already in established job roles and seeking career development.
You will be passionate about both Early Years provision and the value of apprenticeships and be committed to driving up standards in an area of provision where achievement rates are already well above national averages, and learner and employer satisfaction levels are also high. The ideal candidate will have industry experience, recent professional development, and a proven track-record as a highly successful apprenticeship Trainer, with the excellent organisation and time management skills needed to manage a diverse caseload across a number of employer partners.
You would be joining a department offering a range of Adult courses and Apprenticeship standards, which is committed to working with employers to help learners launch and develop fulfilling and successful careers. The post is initially 0.2 FTE to July 2025, but it is possible that more hours would become available on a variable basis, and that, on review the contract could extend beyond summer 2025.
Closing date for this post is 12 noon, Friday 9th August 2024
