Oldham College is seeking a passionate and experienced Tutor Assessor - Multi-Trades to join our Construction and Work-Based Learning team on a fixed term basis. In this role, you will support apprentices and learners in achieving their learning goals, offering a high standard of teaching, assessment, and feedback. You will also engage with employers, designing and delivering a curriculum that meets industry needs. With a key focus on Carpentry, Joinery and Painting and Decorating, we are looking for a multi-skilled Tutor Assessor who can support our learners. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and innovative lessons to a caseload of work-based learners. Support apprentices in achieving their NVQ qualifications. Develop and implement creative teaching materials and resources. Conduct regular learner progress reviews, ensuring timely reporting and feedback. Carry out health and safety visits to employer premises and promote safe practices in the workplace. What We're Looking For: A Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in a relevant trade. A Recognised Teaching Qualification or willingness to obtain within two years. Assessor’s Awards, or a commitment to achieving this within 12 months. Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in a relevant occupational area. Why Join Us?
