Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified with PGCE/Cert in Education or L5 Diploma in Education and Training.
- Level 3 qualification in Personal Training with at least 2 years of industry experience.
- Experience teaching various age groups, including adults, and managing diverse learner needs.
- Skilled in embedding employability, social skills, and diversity into learning activities.
- Strong organisational, time management, and ICT skills, with experience using digital learning platforms.
- Effective communicator with a commitment to developing positive learner relationships.
- Flexible, enthusiastic, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a YMCAFit Remote Assessor can work remotely and be involved in assessing a variety of qualifications, based on their expertise, and providing online course tutoring when needed.
We are looking for two part-time remote tutors/assessors who can assess across various qualify specifically Gym, Personal Training, ETM and Yoga. We are also keen to hear from individuals who can teach/assess and those who have experience of specialised qualifications such as Ante/Post Natal, Older Adults and Exercise Referral (Long-term conditions).
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver and assess inspiring learning programmes that engage and motivate learners.
- Provide quality assurance and maintain high standards across various qualifications and levels.
- Teach and assess through diverse methods, including online sessions, with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
- Use innovative teaching techniques and up-to-date resources to support learner progress.
- Monitor learner progress, conduct assessments, and provide individualised support.
- Ensure all teaching and assessment comply with the latest developments and internal quality standards.
- Promote positive attitudes toward diversity and inclusivity within the learning environment.
