About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Clinical Development Lead to join our team at Fairlie Healthcare Group. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing clinical training programs that enhance the skills and competencies of our healthcare staff.
As a Nurse Clinical Development Lead, you will work closely with our Director of Clinical Services and L&D Manager to review, develop, and implement competency documents related to clinical competencies and training pathways. You will also ensure that clinical staff are trained, skilled, and competent to provide high-quality care in relation to their delegated tasks and other health needs of the individuals living within our service.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing and clinical education, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities
- To support mandatory training function across Centres by supporting the management team to allocate staff for daily sessions, maintaining accurate training records, and encouraging training attendance.
- To provide safe and competent training to facilitate the transition of staff development from Carer to Senior Healthcare Assistant through the completion of their Tracheostomy, Suctioning, Ventilator, and Cough Assist competencies, following organisational career progression pathways.
- To ensure outstanding levels of care are provided to the individuals living within the service by monitoring and improving the clinical expertise of all clinical staff (Carers, HCAs, SHCAs, and Nurses) within the home by means of assessing competencies and facilitating training within the service.
