Imperial College London invites applications for a full-time permanent faculty member at the Lecturer level, who will contribute to research, teaching and service at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Qualified candidates may also be appointed at the Senior Lecturer level.
Appointed candidates will have a home department in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. We are particularly inviting applicants working on theoretical and applied areas of AI, Machine Learning (ML), and data sciences, in topics relevant to the work of the department. These include, but are not restricted to computer vision, imaging, robotics, wireless communications, and healthcare.

What you would be doing
Building up a research portfolio and research group at the department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and establishing yourself as an internationally leading researcher.
Supervising PhD students and post-doctoral researchers and mentoring their career development.
Collaborating with colleagues at EEE and in other departments and externally on research, teaching, and service.
Developing teaching materials and teaching subjects at undergraduate, postgraduate and further education levels.

- A PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or another appropriate discipline.
- An outstanding academic record, which includes a portfolio of research publications and other outputs.
- A compelling scientific vision and a developing international reputation in a field related to I-X activities.
- The ability to develop skills in leadership, motivation, development, and management.
- The desire to help set and deliver the vision and strategic goals of the department and college.
