About the Role:
As a Skills Coach (Trades) at our PfP Thrive Academy, you will lead on the design and delivery of a relevant trade-based apprenticeship, teaching and guiding apprentices to become qualified tradespeople able to deliver an excellent service for our Customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver a trade-based apprenticeship programme, ensuring high-quality learning experiences for apprentices
- Teach and guide apprentices to become qualified tradespeople, equipping them with the skills and knowledge required to excel in their chosen trade
- Supervise, coach, and train others, utilizing your expertise to enhance the development of apprentices
Essential Criteria:
- You must be a qualified tradesperson with a minimum of two years' experience in the field, ideally having some experience supervising, coaching, and training others
- You should be confident and competent in using IT applications, specifically Microsoft, as you'll be writing reports, presenting to a variety of stakeholders, and updating learner records
- Ideally, you'll have - or be willing to work towards - a Level 3 Teaching and Assessing qualification
