Lecturer in Business
As a Lecturer in Business, you will deliver exceptional instruction in various business disciplines, including management, marketing, entrepreneurship, and strategy. Your responsibilities will include developing and delivering engaging course materials, fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment, and guiding students through complex business concepts.
We require you to be flexible to work evenings and weekends as required.
This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess student work, ensuring all learning outcomes are met using a variety of teaching methods/materials.
- Develop, update, and improve course materials as necessary.
- Manage and lead modules/units, staying up-to-date with subject-specific and pedagogic innovations.
- Collaborate with the team to engage and retain students, attending meetings as required.
- Pursue ongoing staff development activities and peer observations.
Essential Qualifications:
- A master's degree in a relevant subject area, such as business, entrepreneurship, strategy, marketing, finance, etc.
- Good knowledge of one or more areas, including:
- Business and Entrepreneurship
- Management/Leadership
- HRM
- Strategy
- Project Management
- Marketing
- Finance
- Previous lecturing experience in similar environments.
- Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback.
Desirable:
- Teaching qualifications/accreditation: PGCHE, MA in HE Practice, or FHEA, etc.
- Industry experience in your subject area, demonstrating ability to teach at university level.

Salary Range:
£50,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
