We are seeking innovative computer scientists who can develop new expertise in symbolic AI and its application to autonomous systems. We welcome applications from individuals with expertise in areas like agent-based systems, symbolic artificial intelligence, artificial intelligence planning, multi-agent systems, beliefs-desires-intentions programming, models of agency, automated reasoning, and logic and computation.
The selected candidate will join the Department of Computer Science and be part of a community focused on autonomy and verification. They will publish research at the highest standards, secure external funding, pursue real-world impact, and contribute to PhD training programmes within the department.
As an exceptional teacher, you will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for academic excellence. You will design and deliver innovative undergraduate and postgraduate topics, both in your area of expertise and across the spectrum of Computer Science.
