About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as an independent end-point assessor for the Dual Fuel Smart Meter Installer Level 2 apprenticeship. As an assessor, you will play a critical role in evaluating the knowledge, skills, and behavior (KSBs) of apprentices and providing feedback to improve their performance.
Your Responsibilities
- You will take part in regular training and standardization activities to maintain your expertise.
- Maintain and provide evidence of ongoing relevant Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
- Assess candidates' performance according to published assessment and grading criteria.
- Follow protocols set out in Pearson's specifications and quality assurance protocols.
- Maintain service-level agreements regarding EPA planning and submission of assessment outcomes.
- Report all risks and issues encountered during the End-Point Assessment to Pearson.
- Ensure all EPA reports and assessment evidence are high-quality and recorded accurately.
Requirements
You must have:
- No conflict of interest with the apprentice, their employer, or training provider.
- Relevant experience of the occupation or sector to at least occupational level 2 gained in the last 3 years.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Dual Fuel Smart Meter Installer apprenticeship standard.
- Relevant technical knowledge of the gas & electric industry.
Salary and Benefits
We estimate that the salary for this position will be around £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on location and qualifications. In addition, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including access to professional development opportunities and a supportive working environment.
