Job Overview
In this role, you will be responsible for providing independent assessment services to Training Qualifications UK customers working with Apprenticeship Standards. You will use your robust industry knowledge and experience to form judgements and grading decisions upon the completion of various assessment activities.
This position requires someone who is flexible in their approach to all tasks, with the ability to travel as and when the business requires. Additionally, you will need exceptional assessment abilities, coupled with the ability to act with integrity and impartiality.
You will be responsible for delivering an agreed caseload of End-Point Assessments, taking a lead role in the training and standardisation of freelance associate End-Point Assessors, undertaking internal quality assurance-based tasks, and supporting the delivery of training and support to external customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned caseload to ensure timely completion of all stages of the End-Point Assessment journey
- Deliver outstanding End-Point Assessment services to assigned Apprentices and Employers
- Undertake End-Point Assessment activities with integrity and impartiality, ensuring a fair, reliable, unbiased, and consistent assessment experience
- Produce accurate, well-informed assessment feedback/written reports to validate assessment decisions using correct regulatory paperwork and systems
Qualifications and Experience
- Ability to assess minimum Business Administrator, Customer Service, Teaching Assistant, and Assessor Coach Apprentice Standards
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in classroom environments
- At least 2 years' experience of competence-based interviewing within the last 5 years
- Current knowledge of the regulatory framework and other regulatory and legislative requirements
- Clear and current DBS check
- Hold relevant Assessor qualification (D32/33, A1, TAQA equivalent) or EPA qualification with robust knowledge of assessment practice and techniques
