This role involves creating and implementing curriculum plans, delivering engaging lectures, and mentoring students in their professional development. The successful candidate will also engage in scholarly activities, contribute to ongoing research and practice in the field, and establish partnerships with healthcare organizations.
Responsibilities:
Curriculum Design & Implementation:
- Design and develop curriculum plans, incorporating current industry standards and best practices.
- Implement and deliver lectures, using diverse teaching techniques to cater to various learning styles.
Student Support & Guidance:
- Provide personalized guidance to students, focusing on academic and pastoral development.
- Design and implement assessments that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Research & Scholarship:
- Conduct research in Health and Social Care, collaborating with colleagues to publish impactful findings.
- Secure funding for research initiatives, fostering innovation and collaboration.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance guidelines, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
- Participate in program reviews and accreditation processes, advocating for student-centered approaches.
Estimated salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum.
