UK Management College seeks a highly skilled Lecturer in Education and Childhood to join its academic team. As a key member of the faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to undergraduate students.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Development & Delivery:
- Develop and deliver teaching materials for Education and Childhood modules, including lectures, seminars, and fieldwork.
- Student Support & Assessment:
- Provide individualized support to students, develop fair assessment methods, and offer constructive feedback to enhance student learning.
- Research & Collaboration:
- Pursue scholarly activities that contribute to the field of Education and Childhood Studies, collaborate with colleagues on research projects, and seek funding opportunities.
- Institutional Representation:
- Represent the institution in conferences, networks, and partnerships with educational providers, schools, and early childhood centers.
- Quality Assurance & Administration:
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance guidelines, handle administrative tasks, and maintain accurate records.
To succeed in this role, you will require a Master's degree in Education, Early Childhood, or a related discipline, and significant experience in teaching or training at the higher education level.
A PhD is advantageous, along with a Teaching qualification or a willingness to pursue one. Experience in the education or early childhood sectors, combined with evidence of research engagement and publication, is also desirable.
