Early Years Educator Role OverviewYou will be working with children from birth to 5 years, supporting their early development and laying the foundation for a lifelong love of learning. As an Early Years Educator, you will be part of a team that helps children achieve their full potential.
Salary: The apprentice minimum wage of £6.40 per hour will be paid for the first year.
About the Job:In this role, you will provide exceptional care and education to young children in a safe and nurturing environment. You will work closely with qualified professionals to plan fun and stimulating activities, manage daily schedules, observe children's progress, communicate with parents and staff members, and ensure child safety and wellbeing.
Responsibilities:- Plan and implement engaging activities that cater to children's interests and needs.
- Monitor and record children's progress, identifying areas for development and celebrating achievements.
- Develop positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, promoting a supportive and inclusive team environment.
- Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, meals, and medication, as required.
Career Opportunities:This apprenticeship offers a pathway to a rewarding career in early years education. Upon successful completion, you will gain a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, NCFE Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (EYE), and a Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award Emergency Paediatric First Aid. We also offer opportunities for further training and career progression, including Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner, EYITT, ECT, Level 3 Early Years SENCO & Forest School.
