Knights Training Academy is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sports Level 3 Tutor with Maths and English to join our team and contribute to the success of our students. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality teaching sessions aligned with the Level 3 Sports curriculum, incorporating relevant functional skills in English and mathematics.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Delivering high-quality teaching sessions aligned with the Level 3 Sports curriculum, incorporating relevant functional skills in English and mathematics.
* Organizing and leading practical sports sessions to enhance learners' practical skills and understanding of sports principles and techniques.
* Delivering theoretical lessons covering topics such as sports science, coaching principles, and sports industry knowledge, while integrating functional skills activities to support literacy and numeracy development.
Requirements
* A bachelor's degree in sports science, physical education, or a related field is required. A teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, etc.) is highly desirable.
* Previous experience teaching NCFE Sports qualifications and delivering functional skills in English and mathematics is preferred.
* A strong understanding of sports principles, coaching techniques, and industry practices, with experience in leading practical sports sessions.
Salary and Benefits
* Estimated salary: £30,000 - £34,000 per year, pro rata, based on experience and qualifications.
