On Course South West is looking for a Curriculum Lead to support a range of new projects and developments fastest growing Adult Education Provider. The role will work with our experienced business support and curriculum teams to deliver funded projects and to support organisational change.
Main Responsibilities:
- Developing motivated, inspired, high-performing staff;
- Transforming our digital curriculum to position the College as the leading provider of Digital skills in the region
- Delivering day-to-day financial efficiencies and agreed budgets;
- Growing the College - in the eyes of our students, our Governors, and employers and stakeholders across the city and the Southwest;
Positioning the College as the provider of choice for digital skills training across the region will be achieved, in part, by
- modernising the curriculum to ensure relevance to the emerging digital landscape
- introducing supplementary professional micro-credentials across our existing provision to ensure that students develop industry recognised skills that makes them highly employable to potential employers
- developing a broad technical skills offer to meet the needs of the region s digital sector across AI and machine learning, cyber security, cloud computing, networking, data analytics, web design, software and games development
- implementing an essential and developing skills offer to address the digital skills gaps and drive digital equity across the city and wider region
- broadening our digital apprenticeship offer, developing both the traditional apprenticeship offer as well as an increased Higher apprenticeship offer
- develop a culture of innovation and continuous digital evolution to ensure our curriculum and staff are at the forefront of the digital skills agenda
In addition this will be achieved through planning, resourcing and continually monitoring and enhancing the quality of exceptional curriculum delivery, through excellent teaching and learning that exceeds expectations and aspirations, whilst building relationships internally and externally with purpose and passion - working closely with the Executive Leadership Team to meet the strategic aims of the College as the learning destination of choice. The ideal candidate will bring their Computing and Digital experience and be passionate about enabling every student to be the best they can be leading to positive destination outcomes.
You will need to be people-focused and commercially-minded, able to develop great teams who deliver an outstanding education to our students that excites and exceeds the needs of both students and employers of today and tomorrow.
