The Role & Key Responsibilities
From your first day with us you will be part of a policing family making a real difference.
It is our mission to identify and protect vulnerable people, prevent and respond to harm and keep people safe.
You will deliver blended methods of training across the Technical Training curriculum.
Applicants should be keen to learn and deliver key information around key policing systems e.g. Niche UA.
It is important that the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate how they have been able to coach people through learning a new skills or knowledge.
This role is predominately classroom based training at Surrey Police HQ and surrounding areas, with some virtual delivery.
Skills & Experienc
Existing knowledge, skills and experience in the use of Niche and PNC is desirable. Knowledge of Niche Case File building is favourable
A recognised training qualification in Learning and Development is desirable, but equally not essential as we will be able to support you with developing the skills you need
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills together with the ability to facilitate the development of others and to influence and empower students so that they can make any required adjustments to their behaviour
Excellent presentation skills with the ability to facilitate workshops for individuals & teams, adapting to learners needs where appropriate
The ability to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding and appreciation of the concept of diversity, with the ability to embed this knowledge throughout all learning and professional development programmes
Well developed written communication skills and the ability to produce clear, concise and accurate records and reports
Highly motivated with the ability to work on own initiative, under minimal supervision
Is experienced with Microsoft Office products, with accurate keyboard skills
