An exciting and new opportunity has arisen for an additional Training & Competency (Field Coach) role within the Quilter Academy. You will be supporting Firms and Advisers both pre and post competent adviser status, either as part of an adviser’s journey to obtaining Competent Adviser Status, or on improving business submission quality in line with the Advice Quality Framework and T&C Scheme, ensuring good customer outcomes.
Our ideal candidate will hold a Diploma level 4 qualification in Regulated Financial Planning or above and have experience of working within a Financial Advice Network with a broad understanding of Wealth, Mortgage and Protection advice and process standards, ensuring that all decisions are customer centric.
You will be highly persuasive, with excellent communication skills – both written and verbal. An influencer, who can form excellent working relationships with Firm Principals, Advisers, Paraplanners and senior individuals across the business.
We’re looking for a confident and vibrant team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills. As a Training & Competency Manager (known internally as a Field Coach) you will support Firms and Advisers both pre and post competent adviser status on improving business submission quality in line with the Advice Quality Framework and T&C Scheme whilst ensuring good customer outcomes are central to development throughout.
You will be accountable for supporting Advisers to obtain Competent Adviser Status within the timelines and requirements outlined in the T&C scheme.
Supporting principals and Adviser’s through technical expertise in achieving higher skill levels, advice standards and ensuring positive customer outcomes.
Coaching and developing principals and Advisers to ensure that advice and business quality meets the required standards.
Supporting the launch of central initiatives by developing skills and knowledge in key markets.
You will collaborate with your colleagues and stakeholders to deliver appropriate and coordinated support, whilst also developing a strong sense of team and actively look for opportunities for cross collaboration, with the ability to navigate complex political environments across multiple stakeholders.
You will work closely with Compliance but will also partner with all other business functions, including our Risk team across the wider Quilter business to ensure the appropriate support, training and coaching is delivered to support advisers in achieving the required standards and requirements.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have experience of working within a Financial Advice Network/National with a broad understanding of Wealth, Mortgage and Protection advice and process standards and T & C requirements ensuring that all decisions are customer centric.
You will hold a minimum qualification of Diploma level 4 for Financial Planning, and Certificate level 3 for Mortgage Advice.
You will be delivery focused with high energy and drive, and the ability to deliver through others.
