Hourly rate: £25.25 (unqualified)* or £26.38 (qualified)* inclusive of holiday pay.
Plus, membership of Teachers’ Pension Scheme
- the base hourly rate is £16.29 (unqualified) / £17.02 (qualified) per hour, plus payment for holiday and preparation and marking time, which gives an approximate hourly rate of £25.25 (unqualified) / £26.38 (qualified) per hour.
About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Part Time Variable Hour Tutor within the Health and Social Care Division. The Division has a range of successful programmes in Health & Social Care at all levels from Level 1, 2, and 3.
About the Person
The successful applicant may deliver across a variety of programmes at Level 1, 2, Level 3. Previous experience of delivering Health & Social Care Modules/Units is an advantage for this post.
Applicants must have Level 3 qualification or significant experience in the Health and Social Care Sector.

About the College
We are a large, regional college serving a population across York and North Yorkshire of more one million people. Each year, we have approximately 4,000 school leavers, 1,000 apprentices, 2,000 adult students, and 400 higher-level students studying with us.
Our wide range of education options span entry level programmes through to degrees, higher technical qualifications, and accredited professional courses to courses for professional development. Our apprenticeships can be studied from level 2 to level 5 across a range of different career pathways. 1. The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act
The College is exempt from the provisions of the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974, by virtue of the fact that postholders have access to children and young people, and to vulnerable adults.
