We are looking for an inspiring and knowledgeable User Experience Design (UXD) professional to join our online MA User Experience Design (UXD) programme as a
Lecturer (Module Leader). This online role focuses on teaching and course development for the MA User Experience Design online program. Module leaders are responsible for assessment writing, course content development and enhancement, moderation of grades, and managing the overall learning experience. This position would suit an established UX designer wishing to transition into Higher Education and share their knowledge with enthusiastic students. This is an exciting opportunity join a world-class team of educators and practitioners to shape the future of UXD, working on a fully remote basis. About You
The ideal candidate will have experience working as a practitioner in the field of user experience design or a technical design role. They should be versatile and able to contribute to a teaching team spanning multiple disciplines, encompassing both academics and design industry professionals. We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience:
- Professional experience in the field of UX.
- A strong, high-quality portfolio demonstrating varied abilities.
- Strong connections with the UXD industry and professional practice.
- Confidence in development and implementation within a UXD setting, particularly with tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and potentially other emerging UX development software.
- Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of evolving trends and requirements in the UXD industry.
