Role Description
We are looking for an experienced and qualified NVQ Assessor to join our team at London Cactus College. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and supporting learners in their NVQ qualifications across a variety of vocational areas. This role involves providing support, guidance, and feedback to ensure students meet the required standards and successfully achieve their qualifications.
Qualifications
- A recognised qualification in the vocational area(s) being assessed (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- Assessor qualifications (e.g., A1, D32/D33, TAQA) or willingness to achieve within an agreed timeframe.
- Previous experience in assessing NVQs in a relevant vocational area.
- Good knowledge of the assessment process and quality assurance procedures for NVQs.
Experience
- Teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, CertEd, PGCE).
- Experience in delivering training or supporting learners in the workplace. (Health and Social Care)
- Knowledge of the latest developments in vocational education and apprenticeships. (Health and Social Care)
- Experience in using e-portfolios or other digital assessment tools.
