What it means to be an Academy Trainer at N Family Club…
This pivotal role within The N Academy focuses on delivering comprehensive training programmes across all areas of the business.
Working closely with the Academy Programme Manager, this role will deliver training at our training hubs and within nursery rooms, ensuring the consistent implementation of high quality training programmes that raise the bar and align with N Family Club's mission and operational excellence. Additionally, you will coach and mentor our entry-level talent, providing key skills support and guidance for apprentices and other new team members.
This field-based role in the People & Academy team is focused on delivering robust and high-quality training programmes and support for our people, as well as launching new initiatives and ways of working. You will be responsible for championing team members and partnering with leaders across the business to ensure we deliver our talent development strategy, which builds organisational and people capabilities to deliver business success.
Working backwards from the needs of all N team members and key stakeholders, you will drive efficient, accessible, inclusive, and frustration-free training programmes across the company that are scalable, fit for purpose, and future-proof. You will be passionate about helping others succeed while understanding how people manage change. Key Responsibilities
- Working flexibly to deliver training programmes across various locations, including online, at training hubs and in nursery rooms, at different times of day to meet the needs of our team
- Deliver specific training content using diverse learning modalities (e-learning, hands-on workshops, events, podcasts, virtual simulations) to accommodate different learning preferences
- Lead 'train the trainer' sessions to empower subject matter experts and wider team members
- Ensure the delivery of frustration-free programmes across the company, focusing on evolving the team member experience and increasing attendance
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and Academy Programme Managers to ensure consistency and quality in the delivery of training programmes
- Support subject matter experts with resources and guidance to maintain training standards
Experience, Training, Competencies
Required Experience:
- Proven experience in delivering training programmes
- Demonstrable business partnering skills in communication and stakeholder management
- Exposure to full learning lifecycle with expertise in multi modal training programme delivery
- Knowledge of learning and development best practices and learning principles
- Current working knowledge of LMS/LXP
- Excellent presentation skills
- Proven experience in a fast-paced, growing company
- Ideally some experience within a multi-site business
- Experience and/or passion for the Early Years or Education sector would be a major plus
Required Qualifications:
- Training qualification (or equivalent demonstrable experience)
- Willingness to complete CIPD qualification via apprenticeship (if not already achieved)
