Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Trainer to join our team. This field-based role will involve travelling across the UK to work closely with our network of in-class security trainers. The primary objective is to equip our trainers with the sales skills and knowledge needed to effectively promote and sell our range of additional career-enhancing courses to their students.
Key Responsibilities
As the Sales Trainer, you will:
- Conduct in-person sales training sessions with in-class security trainers across various locations in the UK
- Develop and deliver training materials, workshops, and role-playing exercises tailored to the trainers' needs
- Provide coaching and ongoing support to trainers, helping them develop their confidence and proficiency in selling additional courses
- Monitor performance and provide feedback to trainers, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to ensure training content is aligned with company objectives and sales strategies
- Stay updated on industry trends, sales techniques, and competitor offerings to continually enhance training programs
- Gather feedback from trainers to refine and optimise the sales approach
Required Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Proven experience in sales training, field sales, or a similar role
- Strong background in sales, with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others
- Ability to develop and deliver engaging training sessions
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Willingness to travel extensively across the UK
Desirable:
- Familiarity with the security industry
