An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Administration Assistant to join the South locality admin team within the Doncaster Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Care Group. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Administration Assistant, who wants to participate and contribute to achieving excellent quality of care for our patients. In return for this commitment, we will support and develop your potential and skills through regular supervision and development in this busy role within our friendly Trust.
There may, at times, be a need to travel between various locations, it would be an advantage if the successful applicant is either a car driver or able to be independently mobile.
If you don't already have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, RDaSH are offering this post alongside the opportunity for you to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification [relevant to your role].
As an apprentice within RDaSH you will be given the opportunity to gain experience, learn work-related skills and obtain all the tools needed to thrive.
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. Around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying. This leads to a nationally recognised qualification.
· Provide a senior confidential, quality administrative service to an identified branch of services within the CareGroup
· To communicate effectively, accurately and professionally, applying discretion and empathy where necessary, with written, telephone and face to face contact, with patients, service users, visitors, other Trust staff and externalagencies
· Have an understanding/knowledge and be able to work towards the KPI’s and targets set by thecommissioner
· Provide and receive routine information to work colleagues and clients. Exchange information with clients requiring tact anddiplomacy
· Maintain quality in own work and encourage others to do so whilst working as an effective and responsible senior teammember
· Update annual leave rota and daily cover rota to ensure there is adequate cover at alltimes
· Ensure the smooth running of the administration staff ensuring all areas/clinics are covered on a day to day basis; including liaising with clinical staff whenrequired
· Deal with any day to day problems that arise within the admin team such as staffing issues, technological issues ensuring effective resolution and continuity ofservices
· To ensure appropriate dissemination and implementation of Trust Policies and Procedures within the adminteam
· To ensure appropriate records storage and archiving is carried out in a confidential and timely manner
