RCE Wellbeing Hub is a collaborative, educational learning environment which aims to convey messages of hope, control and opportunity to all.
The Health Trainer role in the RCE Wellbeing Hub will be pivotal in providing evidence based working knowledge that links to national policies which will underpin the basis of all co-production and co-delivery of the Hubs curriculum.
The RCE Wellbeing Hub Health Trainer will be the lead clinical voice in coproduction and codelivery of our sessions.
They will have experience of working in true collaboration with those with lived experience to ensure a balanced and equal work space is created where no one voice is more important/valued than others.
The post holder will establish supportive, recovery focussed relationships within the Hub and represent the Wellbeing Hub and the wider recovery team at conferences and Trust events.
The Health Trainer will connect with other clinicians both within and external to CPFT to ensure specific clinical knowledge is sought and included in our high quality courses.

1. Co-deliver high quality, evidence based co-produced courses that last between 90 minutes and 7 hours in length. These courses will be mainly online however some face-to-face teaching will be required and this may be in the community or based in CPFT inpatient wards. Timetabling permitting you will be expected to co-deliver training around 60-70% of your working week.
2. Ensure courses contain high quality, up to date evidence-based health content and information utilising NICE guidelines, profession specific training sessions, RCOT briefing papers and relevant journals etc.
3. Liaise and connect with subject matter experts to escalate/seek support on any relevant topics that are outside of Health Trainers remit.
4. Lead on the co-production of a minimum of two new courses a term. This includes leading co-production meetings, course development, creating PowerPoints and supporting the creation of activities and learning aids.
5. Act as the first line of support and communication for student Health Professionals on placement within the Hub including coordination of placement, supervision and assessment support.
6. Network and create links to be the main point of contact for clinicians who may be interested in being involved in the coproduction of new course/current courses within the Hub.
7. Work as a team member providing some administration support (when team admin is on leave) such as managing the RCE Wellbeing Hub inbox, printing materials and contacting students due to non-attendance.
8. Raise awareness of recovery language with Trust staff by modelling positive strengths based, non-discriminatory, non-jargon, non-medicalised language in all areas of work.
9. Create links within clinical areas where the Hub could support the Trusts current service needs and lead on scoping possible care pathway
