The National Sales Trainer is responsible for designing, developing and delivering comprehensive training programs to enhance the skills and effectiveness of the sales team. This role involves conducting training sessions on sales techniques, product knowledge, customer service and other relevant topics to ensure the team meets and exceeds the organisations sales targets.
This role will suit someone who is South East based and will be working on a hybrid basis with travel included across the UK and Ireland.
The Role – National Sales Trainer
- To conduct skills gap analysis’ to identify areas of improvement across the sales team and other departments.
- To design a training curriculum within time and budget constraints.
- To produce physical and digital educational material (e.g. videos and case studies) in partnership with the marketing team to make the content as engaging as possible.
- To support with the onboarding process for new starters once they join the organisation, providing an induction style training session on various topics.
- To liaise and collaborate with external trainers or industry professionals where necessary.
- To deliver a sales training playbook, and to develop a sales graduate training scheme (in partnership with P&C).
- To observes sales interactions and collate feedback, results and performance analysis with various employees across the organisation.
- To work with departmental leads to establish skills gaps, and to create bespoke training for employees where needed.
What You Will Need in the Role of National Sales Trainer
- Educated to a degree level, or relevant extensive experience within a training / learning & development environment.
- Solid understanding of a sales function and understanding of how to maximise B2B sales.
- Industry experience, working within the Coffee / Beverage Solutions Industry.
- Excellent communication skills, able to hold an audience’s attention and deliver engaging information.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
