About The Role As a Carpentry Teacher
We are looking for an experience Carpenter to join our Construction team at Guildford college. If you have knowledge and experience in teaching Carpentry, we would welcome your application!
As a Carpentry teacher, you will have passion and enthusiasm for developing and nurturing the next generation of Carpentry professionals.
Our Construction & Engineering Faculty has an excellent record of delivering vocational Carpentry courses with employability embedded at their heart. This is achieved through excellent relationships with industry and the employment of experts with extensive professional experience within the teaching team. We deliver well-established and highly successful professionally accredited courses in Carpentry.
This is a full time, permanent contract based at Guildford college.
We are offering an annual salary up to £42,182 and may consider a hard to fill supplement (depending on qualifications and experience).
What do you need to be a successful Carpentry Teacher at Activate Learning?
You will have at least a Level 3 NVQ in Site Carpentry and vast amount of industry experience. You will have a passion for developing the skills of the future generation of skilled Carpenters You will also have strong organisation skills coupled with the ability to prioritise workloads and will benefit from being part of a supportive team, working in a varied and interesting role with a variety of opportunities for career development.
Candidates with experience in further education, distance learning and apprenticeships are also encouraged
