Attitude is key - we want someone who is committed to providing the highest quality service to both students and employers.Responsibilities:We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Apprentice Skills Coach with a passion for Plumbing and Heating who has the ability to impart their experience, skills and knowledge to a caseload of apprentices on the Level 3 Plumbing and Heating Apprenticeship standard.The successful applicant will be required to work as part of a team delivering high quality training and assessment. Primary duties include training and assessment of apprentices within their employed working environment, supporting them to ensure timely completion of their qualifications, build their Apprenticeship portfolio’s and pass their Apprenticeship end point assessment (EPA).The successful applicant will possess a range of skills relating to the Plumbing and Heating Apprenticeship standard. You also have the ability to work as part of a team, provide feedback in a way that motivates individuals and help apprentices overcome potential barriers to progression. We are looking for a positive, proactive, solutions focused individual to help us drive the provision to support our journey to outstanding. Knowledge of the Apprenticeship Standards, E - portfolio’s (Smart Assessor) and experience of working with apprentices would be beneficial along with excellent communication skills and a 'can do' approach to tasks. Qualifications:You must hold at least a Level 3 Plumbing and Heating qualificationIdeally you will hold or be prepared to work towards an Assessor and Verification award, e.g. TAQA, A1 or V1.A minimum of Level 2 qualifications in maths and English or the equivalent e.g. GCSE grade C or above, GCSE grade 4 or above.
