The Directorate of Student and Academic Services (SAAS) leads on the development and provision of outstanding student facing services. The Directorate is responsible for ensuring that students have an excellent experience and provides services across the student and academic lifecycle from enrolment to graduation, covering everything from wellbeing services to ensuring new courses are set up correctly. The Directorate is at the centre of a transformation programme as we seek to make services which underpin our student experience more efficient and effective. Over the next year, we will reconfigure the ways we work, reducing silos, making better use of systems and improving compliance with regulations, policies and processes. Working in the Apprenticeships Delivery and Compliance Team, the Apprenticeships MIS Coordinator will provide efficient administrative support to the operation of matters relating to Apprenticeship contracts. The post holder will be expected to work closely with students and staff in their team, the wider Directorate and other professional service departments and academic staff. The post holder will take responsibility for maintaining and developing the Management Information System, APTEM, to support the apprentice journey from enrolment to end point, ensuring all ESFA and other regulatory requirements are met, supported by an awareness and understanding of the data processed within the area, particularly data classed as personal or sensitive and ensure protocols are in place for a GDPR compliant operation. You will provide training to the Apprenticeship Delivery and Compliance team members and stakeholders in the wider University. You will effectively manage the relationship with stakeholders to ensure all process flows are in place, appropriate, streamlined and efficient to realise a high-quality apprentice experience. You will also carry out development of the APTEM system for apprenticeship data management, and complete course set up, ensuring effective recording of information of courses, apprentices, and employers. You will have a HND/equivalent Level 5 qualification (preferably in business administration/finance) or substantial equivalent experience, along with GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above. You will have strong analytical and reporting abilities as well as experience delivering information, advice and guidance. You will also have experience in the successful implementation of business processes and systems, and the ability to track and manage financial / budget information to manage client accounts.
