About the role
You would be expected to take responsibility for generating high volumes of apprenticeship applications, targeting young people throughout the country. You would be the first port of call in signposting and enrolling young people onto our support programmes and where successful onto our apprenticeship programmes, efficiency therefore to be able to work on multiple projects is key. This role will benefit someone who is ambitious when attempting to hit targets as well as passionate when supporting young people develop themselves.
Responsibilities:
- To provide thorough IAG to those applying for roles.
- To organise recruitment days for both our support programmes and apprenticeships.
- To meet our company targets for recruiting Apprentices.
- Relationship Management - working closely with the Employer Engagement Managers when filling apprenticeship placements.
- To manage our existing referrals as well as establish your own referral network
- Processing all student and apprenticeship paperwork - ensuring that all paperwork is completed accurately and in full.
- Dealing with all incoming enquiries and to ensure our new ATS system is constantly updated.
- Maintaining contact and contact days with successful applicants and ensuring they stay engaged until their start date.
- Systems and Processes - Being meticulous in ensuring all systems and processes are adhered to and further to this, working to continually improve all systems and processes.
- To work in accordance with set policies and procedures.
- To respect the confidential nature of the work and protect personal information in accordance with data protection regulations and policies in place.
- The ability to communicate at a level that is professional, but also engaging with young people.
- Be efficient and knowledgeable when planning any recruitment strategies.
- Have knowledge of the Apprenticeship Programmes and how they work, which includes knowledge of the Apprenticeship Levy.
- Previous experience of high-volume recruitment (preferable with apprenticeships or within the Education sector).
- Previous experience of creating sourcing strategies and running assessment days (preferable relating to apprenticeships or FE programmes).
- Previous experience of engaging young people in apprenticeship opportunities.
- Previous experience of using an ATS or CRM.
- Previous experience working as an education recruitment consultant.
