This is a variable hours role.<br/> <br/> We are seeking an Assessor for the Bricklaying Apprenticeship course. This role will involve tutoring apprentices in college and assessing them in the workplace. There will be opportunities to collaborate with employers to support learners seeking new areas of employment.<br/> <br/> Apprenticeship Assessors must ensure that learners achieve their apprenticeship within a stipulated time frame. Additionally, they must ensure their learners engage with active learning and complete learning reviews in a timely manner.<br/> <br/> This is a fantastic opportunity to grow an apprenticeship department to meet local needs and demands.<br/> <br/> <strong>What You Will Do</strong> </p><ul> <li>Plan, prepare and develop schemes of work, session plans, teaching and learning resources, learning and assessment plans.</li> <li>Deliver and assess essential knowledge and understanding to learners.</li> <li>Motivate and inspire students to achieve targets and develop their skills to enable progression.</li> <li>Motivate and inspire students to achieve targets and develop their skills to enable progression.</li> <li>Develop and strengthen relationships with learners and provide support to ensure successful outcomes</li> <li>Use and promote restorative practice approaches</li> </ul><p> About You </p><ul> <li>Holds a L5 Teaching Qualification (eg. Cert Ed, PGCE)</li> <li>Hold an assessors qualification</li> <li>Relevant highest level vocational qualification or degree in teaching subject</li> <li>Relevant up to date subject knowledge and recent delivery in the Further Education or school sector</li> <li>Experience of setting appropriate SMART targets to ensure progression of learners</li> <li>Knowledge of current teaching practices and experience of utilising a range of teaching practices to enhance the learning journey and learner progression</li> <li>Ability to inspire and motivate learners to achieve their optimum</li> </ul><p> Benefits<br/> <br/> There are plenty of benefits available to our staff members, here are just a few: </p><ul> <li>Generous Annual leave entitlement - If you work full time, you'll get at least 39 days holiday plus bank holidays.
