Our Military Academies have seen amazing growth over the last few months with the addition of MPCT taking us to a total of 39 academies across England and Wales. We want to continue this amazing growth by driving learner starts across all sites, helping us to expand further in the future and transforming even more lives.<br/> <br/> As a Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for your own recruiting targets by making the Military Academies within your area of responsibility the provider of choice for all those referral agencies and people looking for the preparation and support needed to allow them to join their career of choice. You will work very closely with your Centre Managers in support of learner recruitment for their Academies and report to the Business Development Manager who will be your line manager.<br/> <p> You will need these important qualities:</p> <ul><li><p>Ability to build and maintain strong and agile partnerships with a wide range of referral agencies</p> </li><li><p>Ability to communicate at all levels.</p> </li><li><p>Keen attention to detail</p> </li><li><p>An approachable, positive and can do attitude.</p><br/> </li></ul><p/><p>Roles and Responsibilities</p><br/> <p/> <ul><li><p>Develop and maintain positive relationships with key external referral agencies and partners, (e.g. Armed Forces, schools, local authorities, community leaders, JCPs and employers, to maximise the relationships in support of lead generation and starts for the Military Academies</p> </li><li><p>Prospecting and attending careers and recruiting events within your Area of Responsibility (AOR) by maintaining relationships with the key external referral agencies.</p> </li><li><p>Liaise regularly with stakeholders to ensure they are aware and have the required resources to refer and point learners to the Military Provision and wider Group offer.</p> </li><li><p>Create awareness and load potential starts on to planned events and open days to generate potential interest awareness and onboarding.</p> </li><li><p>Manage employer and referral agency contact details to support regular marketing communications and quality support surveys as per sales team forecast of events.</p> </li></ul><ul><li><p>Advertise current Staff vacancies and wider group opportunities during recruiting activities.</p> </li><li><p>Communicate effectively and efficiently to potential referral agencies and follow up any partnership opportunities to support potential new Learners.</p> </li><li><p>Provide additional support during the learners initial period of onboarding, including sessions to ensure fulfilment of referral agency and learner expectations.</p> </li><li><p>Provide social media updates to support local recruiting initiatives.</p> </li><li><p>Report on monthly activities against set targets and key performance indicators with DROM.</p> </li></ul><p>Administration and Generic</p><br/> <p/> <ul><li><p>Conduct your role in line with the behaviour aligned with our company values</p> </li><li><p>Comply with the Safeguarding, Prevent and Health and Safety Policies and be vigilant to potential concerns and risks at all times</p> </li><li><p>Comply and follow all processes within the Health and Safety Policy</p> </li><li><p>Comply and follow all processes within the IT Policy and, Data Protection and Information Security Policy</p> </li><li><p>Promote equal opportunities and recognition of diversity throughout the company</p> </li><li><p>Ensure the maintenance of confidentially and professionalism at all time</p> </li><li><p>It is essential that you have a commitment to behave in a way that meets our company values and that places the learner and their wellbeing at the heart of what you do.</p><br/> </li></ul></div></div><br/> </div></div><br/> <div><p><b>Essentia Criteria</b></p><div><div><div><p><b> ESSENTIAL CRITERIA</b><br/> <br/> We love to develop our people so even if you don't meet 100% of the essential criteria, we strongly encourage you to apply.</p> <ul><li>Experience in a sales role</li><li> Customer service skills</li><li> Military knowledge or interest would be beneficial.</li><li> For this role, you will be recruiting learners across our Stoke and Nottingham Academies and visiting the Academies regularly.
