Childcare Learning Coach ITS - Permanent – £27,500 to £30,000 Salary per annum – Full Time - 37 hours per week This post is an exciting opportunity to join a team of apprenticeship trainers with ITS based in Shropshire. We are looking to expand our dynamic and enthusiastic team into the care and childcare sector, and you will be expected to prepare, deliver and assess on a range of apprenticeship standards, level 2 to level 5. You will be teaching via a hybrid approach with face-to-face delivery at our training premises in Shrewsbury as well as online via teams. Our Shropshire centre is based on Shrewsbury Business Park which comprises of a large classroom, IT suite, meeting room and large office spaces. Some of the curriculum areas and levels you will be asked to deliver are: • Children, young people and families practitioner level 4 • Children, young people and families manager level 5 • Early years educator level 3 • Early years lead level 5 We are always looking to add new and exciting standards to our provision so based on your qualifications and experience you will be asked to develop new apprenticeship standards for delivery within the department. Your time will be spent in preparing and delivering sessions for the groups of apprentices allocated to you as well as setting and marking assessments and where required, conducting visits to assess the learners in the workplace based within the West Midlands. You will be required to undertake progress reviews with the learners and their line managers, in addition to any 1-1 support the apprentices may request / require. All work is via an online portfolio (Aptem) so prior knowledge would be beneficial but not essential as training and support will be provided. You will be expected to support on the enrolment of new learners, attend events and promote the apprenticeship programme within the Councils and for other local employer’s Prior experience of classroom delivery at this level in the curriculum area is vital, along with knowledge of apprenticeships and a professional and organised working approach, with a commitment to delivery of a quality experience for the learners.
