Pension Scheme Cash Health plan Staff discounts Purpose of role To manage the Compliance Team and ensure that all systems and processes related to AIM’s compliance functions are consistent with the requirements of the relevant regulatory body and are regularly monitored, reviewed and improved. To maintain the quality of AIM Group provision and ensure that standards of attainment are appropriate to the level of learner awards. Key activities Line management Line-manage staff in the Compliance Team, ensuring regular supervision and appraisal. Ensure the effective and efficient use of the human, physical and financial resources available to the Compliance Teams Provide annual budget report to the Head of Access and Compliance to include detailed forecasting and recommendations. Produce Monthly Manager and SLT reports to the highest of standard. Oversee and manage the compliance inbox to ensure timely responses to centres as per documented SLA and ensuring the Equal distribution of work across the Access to HE team Make recommendations to the Head of Access and Compliance regarding regulated and non regulated provisions and continuous improvement. External Compliance Oversee and monitor the consistent application of AIM Group risk ratings and associated remedial actions, as applied to centres and their provision Alert the Head of Access and Compliance and Compliance Director of changes within centres that might affect their recognised status Alert the Head of Access and Compliance and the Compliance Director of any incidents that could result in an adverse effect including but not limited to maladministration, malpractice and conflicts of interest Oversee an annual programme of standardisation and CPD events for AIM Group regulated qualifications, and the dissemination of the outcomes to stakeholders Liaise with the Compliance Director and Director for Strategic Growth and Service Excellence to ensure that any identified internal or external training needs are met (e.g. Registration and Certification ) Manage the approval of late registration and report appropriately to the Head of Compliance Oversee the annual spot checks for external assessment and random sampling for internal assessment in conjunction with the Head of Compliance Lead on the ON STOP process of the Aged Debtor process. Internal Compliance Ensure that all incidents are logged and reported effectively on the quality improvement log. This activity will include further investigatory work as and when required. Oversee the management of internal systems to deliver support and system functions Oversee the design, implement and deliver a robust internal audit plan for the organisation Produce detailed internal audit reports with actions plans to inform operational and/or organisation improvements. Oversee the management of the internal audit plan Oversee the utilisation of the organisation MIS system to ensure organisational policies and procedures are followed and evidenced. Self-Assessment and Regulatory Requirements Oversee the on-going development and implementation of systematic self-assessment processes for all provision Identify, monitor and report on relevant service standards Support the production of reports and documents as per regulatory self-assessment requirements and associated data returns.
