Corporate Responsibility Practitioner/ Apprenticeship Skills Coach
Salary: £40-45k + excellent benefits
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Corporate Responsibility Professional to join our growing team as a Skills Coach. You will have the opportunity to genuinely change apprentice’s lives by shaping, creating and delivering the learning content for our CR&S apprenticeship programme.
The CR&S programme includes sustainability, diversity, inclusion and social impact learning via the Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Practitioner apprenticeship.
The role will be predominantly remote with at least one day a month at our South London office.
Responsibilities include:
- Support your apprentices through the learning journey and deliver an outstanding learner experience through effective coaching and mentoring.
- Ensure your apprentices are on track to complete their apprenticeship.
- Deliver regular coaching sessions and progress reviews for all apprentices and ensure that employers are up to date with apprentice progress.
- Design and facilitate engaging and relevant apprentice training through group sessions including live sessions and in person delivery days.
- Be involved in coordinating the activities delivered in partnership with our employers and industry experts.
- Assess your apprentices' work and provide timely and developmental feedback.
- Manage your scheduled activities to ensure the timely achievement of learners.
- Comply with any quality procedures to ensure compliance and best practice.
- Build strong and lasting relationships with each of the apprentices and employers you support.
- Provide additional pastoral support for apprentices as required.
For this role you must have:
- Have worked as a Corporate Responsibility Professional either in-house, or in a consultancy or agency environment.
- Have a broad understanding of the Corporate Responsibility landscape and the broad range of initiatives that make up a modern CR strategy.
- Ideally, we’d like someone with a relevant teaching qualification Cert ed/ CTTLS/DTTLS, however this is not essential as full training will be provided.
- Ability to deliver high quality, effective coaching that meets learner needs.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Strong organisation skills, with the ability to deliver to deadlines and prioritise effectively.
- Good IT skills, ability to use MS Office, Learner Management Systems etc.
- Having experience in education or training is advantageous.
- The desire to learn and develop yourself, so that you can add value to the apprenticeship experience of our leaners.
- Knowledge of apprenticeships standards and End Point Assessments.
