Director of Finance
The College is looking to appoint a knowledgeable and forward-thinking individual to join our Senior Leadership Team (SLT) as Director of Finance. The Director of Finance has a crucial role, contributing significantly to the future success and development of the College. The post holder will ensure the legal and statutory requirements placed on the College by the ESFA and other funding bodies achieve full compliance.
The Director of Finance will provide leadership in maintaining and developing a strong financial position and robust framework of financial controls, ensuring strong management of all resource utilisation to maximise efficiency and value for money. The successful candidate will lead on all financial matters and provide operational leadership to the SLT, Managers and Finance department, creating a culture of high expectation and performance.
The successful candidate will be a professionally qualified Accountant, with significant relevant experience of Senior Leadership of the Finance function, preferably gained within the Education sector or within complex organisations. You will have a passion for education and training and a proven ability to motivate and inspire others to deliver results.
Salary:
£61,239 - £66,862 per annum
Annual Leave:
35 days, plus bank holidays and Christmas closure
