What To Expect
Your role will be responsible for ensuring the consistent and efficient delivery of the JLR Graduate and Undergraduate Programmes, from learner induction through to successful completion. This requires direct and regular engagement with a cohort of learners, their Line Managers, training providers and other internal and external stakeholders.
You will review and monitor progression against agreed plans and milestones providing a variety of support and guidance and implement early intervention methods where required.
Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities
- Support the development of learners following Graduate or Undergraduate Programmes, to enable them to complete their programme, become competent in their occupational role, and an effective contributor to our business operations.
- Ensure all learners have a clear development pathway, and the various forms of pastoral support required to help them achieve all aspects of their programme and associated personal development to a high standard.
- Review and monitor learner progression as appropriate for their stage in the programme and experience.
- Maintain regular two-way dialogue with Line Managers to ensure that the programme operates effectively.
- Ensure effective documented progress/wellbeing reviews are completed on schedule, to ensure learners are progressing as expected and to ensure the Safeguarding and Health and Safety of Early Careers learners – ensuring line managers are aware of their duties, including provisions applicable to vulnerable learners.
What You’ll Need
- Experience in supporting the delivery of Graduates/Undergraduates, Early Careers programmes or other complex learning and development activities.
- An understanding of the content and purpose of Early Careers programmes.
- Highly developed mentoring/coaching skills – able to adapt style and approach to situation and audience.
- An awareness of academic and vocational qualifications and a variety of delivery/assessment approaches.
- Comfortable using reporting systems to effectively and proactively manage the progression of learners, build action plans, and keep relevant stakeholders informed.
