EARLY YEARS ASSESSOR / TRAINER Location: Worcester - This position is a flexible hybrid role, consisting of home-based working and travelling to various settings for teaching and assessments. About You Here at Aspire Training Team, it is our trainers that are the first point of contact for their learners. Essential skills & experience: A level 3 qualification in Early Years / Education, or equivalent, is essential and you will have significant occupational competency in the Early Years / Education sector. You will have an understanding of E-Learning Portfolios and be extremely passionate about delivering good quality training. Experience in leadership and Management. You must have superb time-keeping skills and able to work on your own initiative, prioritising your workload at all times. IT competency Due to the nature of this role, you will need to possess your own vehicle and hold a valid Driver’s Licence and be willing to travel across your region. Desirable skills & experience: Experience in training and assessing Early Years to Level 5 standard and functional skills up to Level 2 is desirable. A teaching qualification (e.g AET, PTLLS) and assessing qualification (e.g A1,CAVA) would be advantageous. Alternatively, candidates must be willing to work towards these qualifications. Your Key Duties & Responsibilities will include: Delivering a range of award winning qualifications Using our e-portfolio system to manage the learner journey Supporting a manageable caseload with 3 hours per month assigned to each learner Ensuring accurate assessment of your learner against National Standards Creating appropriate solutions for your learners to ensure they have the best learning experience possible Implementing Equal opportunities at all times Ensure efficient processing of paperwork and marking assignments within 2 weeks of presentation Ensure E-Learning portfolios are regularly marked and updated. Meet with the Senior Manager on a regular basis to discuss individual learner’s development.
