We specialise in both commercial and funded training and are proud to be nationally recognised as one of the UK’s largest private training providers due to the growth of our sector and funding secured.</p> <p><br/></p> <p>We are proud to have recently achieved a ‘Good’ rating from our 2024 Ofsted Inspection.</p> <p> </p> <p>👉 Link to report: 50251760 (ofsted.gov dot uk)</p> <p><br/></p> <p>We are currently recruiting for a highly organised, qualified Education and Compliance Auditor/Project co-ordinator to join our existing team.</p> <p><br/></p> <p><strong>The successful candidate will undertake the following main Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p><br/></p> <p>· To lead on external audits and liaise with funding partners.</p> <p>· To conduct monthly internal funding audits aligned to the deep dive audit strategy.</p> <p>· Prepare clear and concise audit reports, documenting findings and recommendations.</p> <p>· To recommend system controls and improvements to funding documentations</p> <p>· Identify company strengths and weaknesses and recommend strategies to optimise efficiency.</p> <p>· To create, implement and deliver training aligned to new funding paperwork.</p> <p>· To deliver training sessions to internal staff to drive continuous improvements aligned to funded activity.</p> <p>· To develop funding and compliance paperwork in line with contracts and requirements</p> <p>· To ensure webforms through the MIS database are kept up to date.</p> <p>· To examine records to ensure compliance with funding regulations.</p> <p>· To ensure a current understanding of the funding regulations</p> <p>· To engage directly with Operational staff & subcontractors, learners, customers & employers</p> <p>· To organise and deliver training in support of improving understanding of procedures, processes, and compliance rules.</p> <p>· Enforce compliance with procedures, policies, regulations, and legislation.</p> <p>· To project manage ad hoc projects as directed by the Admin & Compliance Manager</p> <p><br/></p> <p><strong>The ideal candidate must possess the following Skills, Experience and Qualities:</strong></p> <p><br/></p> <p>· Experience in funding audits, compliance, and data analysis.</p> <p>· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal</p> <p>· Experience in creating and delivering presentations.</p> <p>· Analytical thinking and strong attention to detail.</p> <p>· Good organisational skills and time management</p> <p>· The ability to think objectively and demonstrate sound judgement.</p> <p>· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.</p> <p>· 2 years previous experience within funding audits</p> <p>· Excellent ICT skills, particularly with Microsoft packages</p> <p>· Knowledge of ESFA and other funding rules and guidance</p> <p><br/></p> <p><strong>The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:</strong></p> <p>· Minimum of GCSE grade C in English and Maths or equivalent</p> <p><br/></p> <p><strong>In return, Skills People Group will give you:</strong></p> <p>· 25 days Holiday + Bank Holidays, rising to 27 days Holiday after 2 years’ service.</p> <p>· Employer contributory pension scheme</p> <p>· A challenging and rewarding role in a successful and growing business.</p> <p>· The opportunity to grow with a business.</p> <p><br/></p> <p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Additional leave</li> <li>Company pension</li> <li>Free parking</li> </ul> <p><br/></p> <p><strong>Schedule:</strong></p> <ul><li>Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm</li></ul> <p><br/></p> <p><strong>Hours:</strong></p> <p>· 37.5 hours per week (Full-Time)</p> <p>· Consideration will be given to working part time (30 hours per week minimum)</p> <p><br/></p> <p><strong>Salary:</strong></p> <p>· £30,000 per annum (pro rata for part time)</p> <p><br/></p> <p><strong>Work Location</strong></p> <p>· Office based, but will consider 1-day WFH</p> <p>· Construction Skills People, 22 Longacre Close, Holbrook Industrial Estate, Sheffield, S20 3FR</p> <p><br/></p> <p>for further details, contact kelly.clubb at skillspeoplegroup dot com</p> <p>to apply, please send your CV to recruitment at skillspeoplegroup dot com</p> </div></body></html>
