Join our growing apprenticeship delivery team as an Electrical Installation Trainer, where you will manage a caseload of apprentices, guiding and tracking their progression in knowledge, skills, and behaviours throughout their apprenticeship journey. This hands-on role involves delivering practical, workshop-based learning for apprentices working towards the Level 3 Installation and Maintenance Electrician standard, along with conducting workplace assessments. You will also ensure that assessments and feedback are submitted on the Aptem e-portfolio system, offering ongoing support to prepare learners for their End Point Assessment (EPA). You’ll be able to manage a caseload of apprentices, guiding them with regular progress monitoring, workplace assessments, and the development of employer relationships through tripartite reviews. A key part of the role involves preparing learners for their End Point Assessment (EPA) by providing constructive feedback, planning and delivering lessons, and ensuring compliance with awarding body standards. You should be familiar with apprenticeship programmes and e portfolio systems like Aptem for tracking learner progress. A proactive, flexible approach is essential, as well as excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a passion for developing the next generation of industry specialists.
