Our students have access to industry standard facilities, comprehensive support services and benefit from extensive links with the University of Derby.</p> <p><br/></p> <p>We are excited to welcome applicants to teach on our highly successful Engineering and C&J programmes at the Leek Campus. We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and engaged lecturer of construction that can teach units across a range of qualifications that include the T level in Onsite construction and the Extended Diploma in Site Carpentry.</p> <p><br/></p> <p><strong>About the role</strong></p> <p>You will be expected to deliver C&J construction related units such as construction design principles, construction science principles, construction and the built environment industry and Building technology principles.</p> <p><br/></p> <p>Whilst this will primarily be classroom based, we also require candidates to have the digital skills to deliver effective lessons using a range of online resources and platforms (for example Microsoft teams or Blackboard). Our tutors will need to be adaptable, creative and resourceful in the face of the current challenges in education.</p> <p><br/></p> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>We welcome candidates with a range of experience including experienced carpentry and joinery teachers. We are however also seeking applications from recent construction graduates and experienced industry professionals with good communication skills, a passion for construction and a desire to help young people to succeed.
