An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Finance Business Partner. As part of our expanding operations, we're addressing crucial skills shortages within the UK Nuclear Sector. Your role will be instrumental in leading the financial management activities of significant projects and contracts, in close collaboration with the Head of Nuclear, Programme Management Office, and Senior Project Managers.
As a trusted advisor, you’ll provide insightful financial directives to stimulate performance and meet our business objectives. This role will allow you to utilise your proficiency in financial analysis and strategic planning, fostering clearer communication between financial and project teams.
Key Accountabilities:
- Deliver comprehensive financial reports, forecasts, and variance analysis in a timely manner.
- Lead the Programme and project annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting updates.
- Support long-term strategic planning by providing financial modelling and strategic recommendations.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities, creating strategies to mitigate risks and exploit opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a financial analysis or a similar role.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, analysis, and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
